A more traditional method of painting, Pintura by Maha elevates the humble acrylic on paper concept by shaking up the medium and subject of each painting. Some pieces are a mix of acrylic and charcoal on recycled paper, creating a feeling of tradition mixing with the timeless nature of each piece. The thick charcoal outlines are sometimes smeared, giving to light a backdrop for the acrylic to play onto.

Other pieces however, evoke a visual equivalent to that of a dream. Hazy warm tones blending into each other to create a landscape that feels familiar but shrouded in a fog of memories and thoughts.
